Technical Specification :
Generally, a 12 kV load break switch is placed before a 12 kV/dt5V transformer so that in case of a shutdown, it can be turned off and the main distribution line to other users does not interrupt. It is a mechanical switch protection system that is cheaper than a VCB. There are two types of LBS currently available in the international market. One is Air-insulated LBS, most of the LBS user clients in Bangladesh use this type of LBS. Asian Royal Energy Ltd is the biggest Local supplier of Air-insulated LBS in Bangladesh.
